Baritone Sam Park is a highly regarded artist on the international stage, known for his expressive depth and diverse repertoire. His artistic accomplishments have been recognized through his success in prestigious international competitions. In September 2024, he was awarded the First Prize at the ARD International Music Competition (Germany), following his First Prize win at the Mt. Fuji International Opera Competition of Shizuoka (Japan) in November 2023. He also secured the Second Prize (First Prize not awarded) and two Special Prizes at the Riccardo Zandonai International Singing Competition (Italy), and the Second Prize at The 18th International Festival of Operatic Singers "Marie Kraja" (Albania), among other major distinctions. Mr. Park was an ensemble member at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden from 24/25 seasons, and has gained experience through guest engagements at the Oper Wuppertal and the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
His comprehensive operatic repertoire includes leading roles such as Germont in Verdi's La traviata, Figaro in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni, and Papageno in Die Zauberflöte. He has successfully performed a wide range of works, including Ping in Puccini's Turandot, Belcore in Donizetti's L'Elisir d'Amore, and Fiorello in Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia.
Sam Park completed his Bachelor's degree at the Korea University of Arts, and pursued his Master's and Konzertexamen degrees at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin under the instruction of Prof. Ewa Wolak. He has further refined his artistry through masterclasses with distinguished figures, including Francesco Araisa, Helmut Deutsch, and Charles Spancer.
In addition to his operatic career, Mr. Park maintains an active concert schedule. He recently completed invited recitals at the 'Espresso Concert' series at the Berlin Konzerthaus, Germany and at the International Music Festival in Arezzo, Italy. He has also previously appeared as a soloist with the Deutsche Oper Berlin Orchestra for a benefit matinée supporting refugees.

박샘은 헤센 주립극장 비스바덴의 앙상블 단원으로 24/25 시즌부터 활약했으며, 부퍼탈 오페라 극장과 베를린 도이체 오퍼의 객원 성악가로도 무대에 서며 폭넓은 경험을 쌓았습니다. 그의 광범위한 오페라 레퍼토리 중 주요 배역으로는 베르디의 <라 트라비아타> 중 '제르몽 (Germont)', 모차르트의 <피가로의 결혼> 중 '피가로 (Figaro)'와 <돈 조반니> 중 '돈 조반니 (Don Giovanni)', <마술피리> 중 '파파게노 (Papageno)' 등이 있습니다. 이 외에도 푸치니의 <투란도트> 중 '핑 (Ping)', 도니제티의 <사랑의 묘약> 중 '벨코레 (Belcore)', 로시니의 <세비야의 이발사> 중 '피오렐로 (Fiorello)' 등 다양한 시대와 스타일의 작품들을 성공적으로 소화하고 있습니다.
