Iease Han was born in Cheonan, South Korea, in 1998. She began her violin studies at the age of five and quickly distinguished herself by winning numerous prestigious national competitions. At the age of fifteen, she gave her debut concert at Youngsan Art Hall. She attended Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School, the most selective art institutions in Korea.
In 2017, Ms. Han moved to Germany to continue her musical education and was accepted to the Mannheim University of Music. During the live audition, Prof. Viviane Hagner was deeply inspired by her performance and subsequently invited her to study under her guidance. While studying in Mannheim, Ms. Han won a scholarship competition in 2018 and performed frequently as both a soloist and chamber musician.
In 2022, Ms. Han expanded her artistic career internationally after winning First Prize at the Manchester International Music Competition and Second Prize at the France International Music Competition. Following these achievements, she was accepted into the highly acclaimed University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar for her master’s degree, an institution renowned for its excellence in string performance.
Alongside her solo activities, Ms. Han has been deeply committed to chamber music. Driven by her passion, she founded the piano trio Radix, together with pianist Taek Gi Lee and cellist Chien-ju Yang. Despite a short rehearsal period, the Radix Trio was invited to participate in the live round of the prestigious ARD International Music Competition in Munich. The ensemble later won First Prize at the Amiglada International Chamber Music Competition and received a Concert Prize at the 20th International Summer Music Festival in Zwingenberg, Germany.
In 2023, Ms. Han was awarded First Prize in the Solo Category at the Amiglada International Music Competition, continuing her artistic development under the guidance of Prof. Kathrin Ten-Hagen.
In 2025, she won the Grand Prize at the Virtuoso Berlin Competition, which led to her debut performance at the Kammermusiksaal in Berlin. She is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma as a scholarship student at the École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot, studying with Prof. Alexandre Brussilovsky. Most recently, she made her debut at the internationally renowned Salle Cortot in Paris, marking another significant milestone in her artistic career.
