피아니스트 이효은은 깊이 있는 예술적 탐구와 견고한 기교를 바탕으로 한국과 유럽을 중심으로 활동하며 음악적 존재감을 확장하고 있다. 인천예술고등학교를 졸업한 후 경희대학교 음악대학에서 학사 학위를 취득하였고, 이후 독일로 건너가 만하임 국립음악대학교 Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim에서 석사과정을 마치며 전문 연주자로서의 기반을 다졌다. 현재 독일 Weltklassik am Klavier 소속 아티스트로 활동하며 다양한 무대와 프로젝트를 통해 폭넓은 연주 활동을 이어가고 있다.
그녀는 국내외 콩쿨에서 두각을 나타내며 국제적인 관심을 받았다. 제39회 음연 콩쿨에서 1위 없는 2위로 입상한 후, 비엔나 국제콩쿨 3위, 이탈리아 국제콩쿨 특별상 Nevena Popovic Prize, 멘델스존 국제콩쿨 1위 등 다양한 무대에서 우수한 성적을 거두었으며, 2023 Qingdao International Piano Art Festival에 초청되는 등 세계 여러 나라에서 음악적 역량을 인정받고 있다.
연주자로서의 활동 또한 활발하다. 스타인웨이 갤러리 초청 리사이틀을 비롯해 독일 Neustadt의 ‘Virtuose Tasten’, Ludwigshafen Wilhelm-Hack-Museum Klaviermatinee, 하이델베르크 Alte Aula 초청 무대에 올라 청중과 평단의 주목을 받았다. 이어 라흐마니노프 150주년 기념 Schloss Mittelbau Rittersaal 연주, 폴란드 Stettin Academy of Arts 초청 공연, 이탈리아 San Donà di Piave 국제콩쿨 수상자 연주, 영국 Cambridge University 초청 독주회 등 유럽 주요 도시에서 활발히 활동하며 국제적 무대를 넓혀가고 있다.
Pianist Hyoeun Lee is actively expanding her artistic presence across Korea and Europe, grounded in refined musicianship and interpretive depth. After graduating from Incheon Arts High School, she earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Kyung Hee University and later continued her studies in Germany, completing her Master’s degree at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim. She is currently an artist with Weltklassik am Klavier, performing in a wide range of concerts and projects throughout Europe.
Pianist, Hyoeun Lee has gained international recognition through numerous competition achievements. She first drew attention by winning Second Prize (without a First Prize awarded) at the 39th Eumyoun Competition in Korea, followed by Third Prize at the International Music Competition Vienna “Caneres,” the Special Award Nevena Popovic Prize at the international competition in Italy, and First Prize at the Mendelssohn International Piano Competition. In addition, she was invited to perform at the 2023 Qingdao International Piano Art Festival, further establishing her reputation as a rising international artist.
Her performance career continues to develop across major Korean and European stages. She has appeared as a soloist at the Steinway Gallery and has been invited to perform at Virtuose Tasten in Neustadt, the Klaviermatinee at the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum in Ludwigshafen, and the Alte Aula concert hall in Heidelberg. Further engagements include a recital celebrating the 150th anniversary of Rachmaninoff at Schloss Mittelbau Rittersaal, an invited performance at the Academy of Arts in Stettin, a winner’s concert at the international competition in San Donà di Piave, Italy, and a recital at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Through these appearances, Lee continues to expand her artistic footprint on international stages.
